This Day of the Dead show pairs surreal, haunting, and bizarre dream images with beautiful art songs by great Romantic composers, in a story of a 19th century woman's fateful choice between love, society, her children, and her artistic career. Combines ballet, aerialists, modern dance, physical performance, sculpture, and exquisite and bizarre detailed costumes and couture reminiscent of days past. Professional classical singers perform songs of Fanny Mendelsson and Clara Schumann, along with Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler, and others. This showcase performance of a brand new show is sponsored and hosted by Luminous Thread. Tickets are $15 at the door or at http://nuptials1.eventbrite.com/.
