Ben intends to try and get the video of the whole show up soon. However, the sound in the hall was pretty mushy and it would be in our best interest to subtitle - anyone handy with that technique who wants to give it a stab?

Inventing Earth founders Mary Lin and Ben Sargent recently visited Denver, Colo., and the front range over Thanksgiving in an exploratory trip to determine whether or not Colorado might be a good or great home base for Inventing Earth's many projects. (The answer is: quite possibly.)  Upon our return home we found we'd received a letter informing us that all our hard work over the past year has paid off, and we've been awarded 501 (c) 3 status!!!

We showcased our work from this summer's Production Workshop in a live performance at The Great New England Steampunk Exhibition on September 18 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Here are Amelia's two arias from Act One Scene 1: "Sky Scientist" followed by "Dressing".

Mary and I have finished the music for Act I scenes 1, 3, and 4. These are the scenes we expect to perform in September for the preview. After the show I hope we can post music as performed by musicians and singers. For now, what we can post are the MP3 playback files…

This month we begin rehearsals for the September preview of "Queen Victoria's Floating Garden of Secrets and Natural Wonders." The singers are learning the music. Mary Lin's signature "Edwardian Alchemist" steampunk costumes are looking fantastic. Ben Galde's collapsible set is under construction. Exciting!
